Elanders Print & Packaging Group expands management team with high-calibre new appointments

In April 2023, the Elanders Print & Packaging Group — a global leader in print services — announced the strengthening of its executive leadership team with two high-profile additions. Ulrich Schätzl joins as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Eduard Kaupert as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). They will support the leadership team headed by Sven Burkhard, CEO and Chairman of the Board.

Sven Burkhard – CEO:
Sven has been with Elanders since 2017 and, as CEO since 2019, is responsible for all global print and packaging locations. His extensive experience and strategic foresight have been key contributors to the company’s ongoing success.

Ulrich Schätzl, who also serves as Managing Director of Elanders Donauwörth, took on the role of COO for the Elanders Print & Packaging Group as of April 1, 2023. A trained print specialist with strong family roots in the printing industry, he brings deep expertise and commitment to driving the group’s transformation forward.

Eduard Kaupert also joined the Print & Packaging Group on April 1, 2023, as CFO. With over 25 years of experience in the finance sector — gained primarily at KUKA, a robotics manufacturer based in Augsburg — he brings extensive financial know-how. Over the years, he held various roles in controlling and accounting. A graduate in business administration, he also holds qualifications as an industrial clerk and certified balance sheet accountant. One of his key goals at Print & Packaging is to enhance cost accounting and promote effective collaboration within the finance department.
