At Elanders Print & Packaging you will work with modern folding carton gluing machines and play a key role in producing high-quality packaging solutions. As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for setting up, running and monitoring the machines to ensure efficiency, precision and top-quality results.

Your Tasks

As a Machine Operator:

• Responsible operation of the following folding carton gluing machines:
  Bobst Domino 90, Bobst Fuego 50, Bobst Domino 110
• Setting up machines according to job specifications
• Monitoring production and ensuring continuous quality control
• Identifying and correcting quality issues
• Routine maintenance and care of the assigned machines
• Compliance with hygiene regulations and documentation requirements

As Deputy Head of Finishing Department:

• Preparing die-cutting and gluing jobs for efficient processing
• Personnel and production planning in the folding carton finishing area (die-cutting, gluing)
• Ensuring on-time and high-quality production
• Communicating with die tool manufacturers and procuring die-cutting tools
• Planning and procuring glue, consumables and auxiliary materials
• Coordinating and approving die-cutting and gluing jobs

Your Profile

• Several years of relevant experience in folding carton manufacturing
• Ideally trained as a Packaging Technologist, Packaging Mechanic, Machine and Equipment Operator, or Print Finishing Technician / Bookbinder
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends if required
• Independent and quality-conscious working style
• Team player with motivation, reliability and flexibility
• Good command of written and spoken German
• Solid IT skills, especially in MS Office
• Initial leadership experience desirable
