As our new Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with HGB and IFRS standards, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with management, auditors and cross-functional teams to keep our finances on track in a dynamic, global environment.
Your Tasks
- As Senior Accountant, you independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- You carry out cost and performance accounting as well as profitability analyses
- You take responsibility for accurate and timely bookkeeping within your assigned areas
- You support budget planning, forecasting and interim projections
- You analyse variances and prepare precise management reports
- You contribute to process optimisation projects in finance and accounting
- You work closely with auditors, tax advisors and internal departments such as controlling, procurement and production
What makes you stand out
- You have completed commercial training with further qualification as a certified balance sheet accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or hold a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance
- You have several years of professional experience in accounting, financial statement preparation and cost accounting
- You possess in-depth knowledge of HGB and good working knowledge of IFRS
- You are confident in using ERP systems (e.g. DATEV, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel
- You work in an analytical and structured manner and take on responsibility with confidence
- You have practical English skills suitable for daily work
- You are a team player with strong communication skills
